Sodium Bentonite
From our own mines, high montmorillonite content, for pellets, foundry and drilling mud.
Bentonite is a non-metallic mineral with montmorillonite as its main component (85–90%). Our material comes from wholly-owned mines, mined more than 100 meters underground and processed by dry sodiumification and wet classification.
Compared with calcium bentonite, sodium bentonite has higher water absorption and swelling capacity, higher cation exchange capacity, better dispersion, higher gel value, better thixotropy, viscosity and lubricity, and better thermal stability.
